GETTING STARTED:
Gather your photos or documents and sort into sections. Usually for weddings, there will be three sections. The bride growing up, groom growing up and then pictures of the two of you together. Number your selections on the back of the photo or document, so they can be shown in the order you'd like for your slide show. Use non-marring pencil or attach sticky notes securely, being careful not to damage your photos. Place these sections in a ziplock bag or envelope and write the section number and song to play with it, on the outside of each. Examples of documents are; announcements, invitations, certificates, a child's first drawing, reports, etc. Photos and documents must be 8"x10" or smaller and be flat so they are scannable and can be digitized. Digital photos (in .jpg format) are also accepted on disks. Please send them in the highest resolution possible, for best quality. Please write the file or name of each on a paper specifying the number in order to be displayed. Documents or photos are $2.00 each.
TITLES & TEXT INSERTS:
Titles -- Add titles, quotes or captions to photos. These titles are shown at the same time your photo is displayed on the screen. Print your desired titles in quotes ("____") neatly on the back of your pictures, in pencil or apply sticky notes securely. (24 characters max perline)
Text inserts -- You may want to include a short poem or message that is displayed seperate of the photos and in between the photos. This also works very well when used to announce upcoming photos or before a section of photos. Another example would be for the "credits" or endings when you want your bridal party listed, thank you's issued, etc. These Text Inserts need to be written on seperate 4"x6" papers and inserted in the order you would like them displayed with your photos. (24 characters max per line) Depending on the number of lines, your text may scroll. Tally your total title lines and text insert lines and fill in on the order form. Each line cost $0.25. Your opening title is free and needs to be written on order form only.
PHOTO ENHANCEMENTS:
When selecting your photos, realize that the quality of your original photo is reflected on the final outcome of your slideshow. We can help improve your photo, to some degree, but keep in mind that we only do general enhancing. Photo Enhancements include; Color or Lighting Correction & Red Eye Reduction. Remember though, with or without enhancements, that each of your photos are special and sometimes that old, torn and faded photo is a cherished one that you want included anyway. If red-eye reduction is needed, specify desired color of eyes, or we will use a basic dark grey color. Basic photo Enhancements are now FREE!
MUSIC:
To include your own music to your video, you need to supply us with your original CD(s) and mark your selections on the order form, in the order you'd like them played. Also, write the song title on the envelope with the corresponding section of photos . Allow 8-10 photos per minute of usic. Depending on the length of your video, some selected music may fade out before the song ends. Please read and sign the Agreement Terms on the bottom of the Order Form when selecting your music. Music CD's will be returned with your finished order. We can also purchase most music selections, on your behalf, at online stores. Please email us for details and availability of your selections. The cost for this service is $3.00 per song.
DUPLICATE VIDEO:
Remember to order copies for gifts for those special people in your life. Family Tree slideshows make great gifts to all your family members. Reception and wedding videos make a nice gift for parents, family members, ushers, bridesmaids and those unable to attend your special day. Take advantage of duplicate copy pricing! $12.00 each.
PHOTOS ON CD:
Have us put your hi-resolution photos on a CD. Preserve your priceless memories in a digital jpeg format that will outlast any photo album and last for generations to come! Print your own duplicates, enlargements, calendars, t-shirt transfers and more, using computer software and your home printer. $10.00 each.
